Ruth Marie (King) Dilts

Ruth Marie Dilts, 60, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on, Friday, January 22, 2021 at her residence. Ruth was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on June 16, 1960, a daughter of the late Vina (Back) and Hurley  King. Ruth married Steve Dilts on February 7th, 1976. Ruth and Steve were married nearly 45 years until her passing. She worked as a cashier at Krogers in Lawrenceburg,  IN and was a member of the Holmes Hill Church of Christ. Ruth enjoyed shopping, dancing and taking care of all her animals. Her greatest joy was time spent with her grandbabies and great grandbabies. Ruth is  survived by her husband, Steve Dilts, of Rising Sun, IN; by two sons Ronnie King and wife Stephanie, of Patriot, IN and Chris Dilts and wife  Chelsie, of Dillsboro, IN; by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; by a sister, Joyce Pickett, of Milan, IN and by a brother, Ronnie King and wife Carol, of Madison, IN. Ruth was preceded in death by her granddaughter Cassie Dilts and by her brother-in-law Francis Pickett.  
 

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, January 26th at Holmes Hill Church of Christ in Aurora, IN. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 26th at Holmes Hill Church of Christ. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
