Shirley Ann England

Shirley Ann England, 84, of Aurora, IN (formerly of Rising Sun) passed away on Friday, November 25th, 2022 at her residence. Shirley was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Irene Marie (Wiesman) Bushman and Barnard Joseph Bushman. She grew up in the Mount Healthy community and attended school there. Shirley always had a strong work ethic. At an early age she completed cosmetology school to help support her family. Shirley later went on to be the owner of the Woodlawn Dairy Queen for several years. She sold the business in 2013, a decision that was not easy for her due to her strong drive to keep busy. Shirley is survived by a daughter, Deborah "Debbie" Kraisinger (Stuart), of Aurora, IN; by three sons, Richard England (Dung), of Louisville, KY;  David England (Sarah McClellan), of Aurora, IN and Jeff England (Denise), of Lawrenceburg, IN;  by grandchildren: Jonathon England, Michelle England, Christine England, Jason Foutty, Jeremy Foutty, Corey Foutty, Joshua England, Nick England and Jake England; and by 14 great grandchildren. Shirley is also survived by her special pet and companion Miguel, who was always at her side. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, by her brothers Bernie and Dennis Bushman; by her sister Darlene Bushman and by her grandson Brandon Foutty in 2021.
 
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 29th at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Rev. Jim Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29th at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora, IN.
