Shirley Ann (Buddenberg) Levi

Shirley Ann Levi, 71, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 11:35 PM, Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg, IN. Shirley was born in Milan, IN on May 6, 1947, a daughter of the late Mary (Huber) and William  Buddenberg. She grew up in the Rising Sun community and attended high school there. Shirley was the wife of Charles William Levi. On June 5,1964, they were married at Wright's Corner United Methodist Church. Shirley and Charlie were married nearly 55 years until her passing. Shirley was a member of the Rising Sun First United Church of Christ. Shirley's life revolved around her family. She was always there to support her children and grandchildren in whatever sport or activity they were involved in. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and caring friend to many. 

Shirley is  survived by her husband, Charles Levi, of Rising Sun, IN; by a daughter, Teri Slusher (Tarah), of Greendale, IN; by two sons, Stacy Levi (Stacy), of Rising Sun, IN and  Nick Levi (Andrea), of Rising Sun, IN; by 8 grandchildren: Logan Jaehnen, Maleah Martini, Jenna Martini, Devan Levi, Dylan Levi, Trevor Levi, Emma Levi and Tucker Levi. Shirley is also survived by a sister, Sue Graves, of Lawrenceburg, IN and by a brother, Robert Buddenberg (Vicki), of Lawrenceburg, IN. 
 
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, April 4th at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Pastor TeriLynn Stackhouse officiating. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 5-8 PM at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Rising Sun First United Church of Christ. Cards are available at the funeral home.
