Stacey Gene Presley

Stacey Gene Presley, 54, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 at his home. Stacey was born in Cincinnati, OH on June 25, 1970, a son of Jeanne (Brock) Presley and Terry Presley. Stacey was the husband of Penny  (Volpe) Presley. Stacey and Penny were married on April 4, 1998 in Rising Sun, IN. Stacey was a flooring installer for several years and was a member of Local Union 181. He was also a member of the Rising Sun Post 59 Sons of the  American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Aurora, IN. Stacey loved the outdoors.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and playing horseshoes. He also liked playing pool and had a passion for sand drag racing. Stacey loved being with his family, and having a good time with his friends.  

Stacey is survived by his loving wife, Penny Presley, of Rising Sun, IN; by his parents, Terry & Jeanne Presley, of Dillsboro, IN; by his daughter, Haley Presley (Casper Stow), of Rising Sun, IN; by his stepdaughter, Crystal Tibbs-Lawson (David), of Rising Sun, IN; by his grandchildren:  Howard Thomas Stow, Chanda Tibbs, Caden Walton, Quin Walton, Jaelynn Walton and Noah Walton; by four sisters, Kim McAfee (Troy), of Rising Sun, IN;  Tina Parsons (Butch), of Rising Sun, IN;  Sheila Bryant (Jeff), of West Chester, OH and Terri Lynn Presley, of Rising Sun, IN; by his sister-in-law, Joni White (David), of Oil City, PA and by several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. He also leaves behind his buddy and grand dog "Sport".  Stacey was welcomed home by his beloved sister Cheryl (Presley) Powell.
 
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, June 2nd, 20205 at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Eldon Fancher officiating. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, June 2nd at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
