Steven A. Huffner

Steven Arnold Huffner, 65, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Monday, June 3rd, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital. Steve was born in Hamilton, OH on January 21, 1959, a son of the late Joy Marie (Cochran) Huffner and Robert A. Huffner. He attended Rising Sun High School. Steve worked as a heavy equipment operator for Bowen Engineering and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181. Steve enjoyed his job and never missed a day of work. In his spare time he liked to collect and restore old cars and watching the Cincinnati Reds.

Steve is survived by a sister, Kathie Saylor, of Rising Sun, IN; by two brothers, Bobby Trader, of Madison, IN and David Huffner, of Rising Sun, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, by sisters, Connie Sue Lyons & Donna Brameier and by a niece, Brooke Feldhaus.
