Steven Wayne Weber

Steven Wayne Weber, 56, of Aurora, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 9th, 2020 at Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg, IN. Steven was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on January 28, 1964, a son of Mary (Chase) Weber, of Aurora, IN and the late John Weber. Steven grew up in the Aurora community and was a graduate of South Dearborn High School Class of 1982. He was a member of the Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church where he loved to sing. He was also a member of the Aurora Sons of the American Legion and served as Chaplain. Steven was very patriotic and loved his country. He hung the American Flag with great pride. Steven participated in the Relay for Life for several years. He enjoyed woodworking, drawing and all types of music, especially the Beatles. Steven was also an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Cincinnati Reds, Indiana Hoosiers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Steven really liked to cook and  plan the family cook outs and spend time with his loved ones.
Steven is survived by his mother, Mary Weber, of Aurora, IN; by his sister, Kathy  Miller, of Aurora, IN; by nieces, Megan and Alyssa McClanahan; by nephew, Drew Miller, by aunt, Ella Chase, by uncles, Ray, Bob, Don, Ernie and Jerry Chase; by aunt, Mary Jane Weber; by uncle Bill Gregory; by aunt Vivian Cotton; by great nieces & nephews, Maya, Hope, Vance, Aiden, and Ryan; by great friends, Jeramiah Johnson and Henry Mullins; by former wife Linda Mullins and mother-in-law Jenny Waldon and by many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Weber, by grandparents, Richard & Laura Weber and Paul & Katherine Chase; by aunts, Ann and Loraine Chase; by uncles, Claude, Punk and Bill Chase; by aunt Donna Gregory and by uncles, Terry, Dickie and Red Weber.
 
Family graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, April 15th at Rising Sun New Cemetery with Pastor LaJo Dunbar officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Sinai United Methodist or Aurora Sons of the American Legion. Markland Funeral Home of Rising Sun, IN serving the family.
