Susan Washburn McMahon, 94, of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 at Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg, IN. Susan was born in Boothwyn, PA on July 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Susan (Washburn) Reukauf. Susan grew up in Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Chester High School in Chester, PA. Susan later continued her education and completed the LPN program at Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Susan worked as traveling nurse in Florida for several years. She also formerly worked at a group home for people with special needs in Aurora, IN. Susan spent her life caring for others. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Susan was an animal lover too and the family home always had pets. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend to many.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Allyson Schleicher (Jeff), of Rising Sun, IN; by her three sons, Richard Stow (Carolyn), of Williamsburg, VA; Paul Stow (Debbie), of Prospect Park, PA and Michael McMahon, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; by her grandchildren, Amanda Blanton (Tim), James Moore (Leslie Hopkins), Paul Stow, Jr., Diana Esposito (Andrew) and Richard Stow, Jr.; by 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Susan was preceded in death by her mother; by her husband, Richard D. McMahon; by her brother, John London and by her sister, Margaret Ferrins.
