Terry Wayne Chapman

Terry Wayne Chapman, 60, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away on Friday, March 17th, 2023 at his residence. Terry was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on February 12, 1963, a son of Patsy (Shaver) Chapman and the late Lloyd Thomas "Tommy" Chapman. Terry grew up in Ohio County and was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1981. Terry married Beth Walston Chapman on November 11, 1993 at the Rising Sun Church of Christ by Brother Andy Sims. Terry and Beth were married over 29 years until his passing. Terry was employed over 25 years at Grand Victoria and then later Rising Star Casino where he worked as lead finisher in the engineering department. Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and just being outdoors.  He also loved working on cars and riding his motorcycle. Terry was truly a nice guy and knew how to make people laugh. Terry was a loving husband, dad, papa, son, brother and friend to many.

Terry is survived by his wife, Beth Chapman, of Rising Sun, IN; by his mother, Patsy Chapman, of Rising Sun, IN; by his three sons,  Justin Chapman, of Walton, KY;  Loren Chapman (Gwen Huff), of Rising Sun, IN; Joe Walston (Traci), of East Enterprise, IN and by 13 grandchildren. Terry is also survived by three sisters, Gayla Stephenson (Terry), of Rising Sun, IN;  Anita Wilber (John), of Rising Sun, IN and  Tamara Grace (Steve), of Rising Sun, IN. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Chapman and by his son, Adam Chapman.
 
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, March 24th at the Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, IN with Evangelist Tommy Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 23rd at Markland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rising Sun New Cemetery.
